I recently ran an introduction to Angel Mediumship workshop titled 'Doorways Beyond the Veil'. Archangel Azrael was the star guest, acting as our spiritual bouncer and 'door keeper' to ensure that only benevolent human spirits came through. As the Angel of death, Azrael is nothing like the skeletal grim reaper figure that he is traditionally depicted as. He is powerful, but he radiates a peaceful comforting energy. On the night before the workshop, as I was sorting out the materials and hand outs I would be using, Azrael came through and wanted to channel a message to me Clairaudiently. It was such an insightful message that brought comfort and an understanding of death and the other side to those who attended the workshop, that I decided to share it here publically.
CHANNELED MESSAGE
My primary role, dear ones, is to assist the deceased to cross over into spirit. This is why I was created. I am the creator of the light you will all see when it is your time. This light is filled with the loving presence of the Divine. It is a beacon, calling you to return to your true home in a welcoming pleasant embrace. I assist souls in this transition. Death is merely the ending of one existence and incarnation. The end of one journey of learning and testing for the soul.
For some, it is an easy transition because they welcome death. They are weary or feel trapped in a physical body consumed by illness or dis-ease. Death is a release. For others, death is hard to accept at first. These are the souls for whom their life was cut short, either through a sudden illness that ravished their body and took them quickly or through a sudden tragic accident. These souls do not feel it is their time and struggle with the thought that they have left loved ones behind or did not get to complete certain lessons/ goals they wished to accomplish. Death is distressing to them initially. For these souls, the light I send is not welcomed and they remain Earth bound for a time.
However, if due to an unfortunate accident or mishap the physical body has sustained some internal or external damage, which renders a person to be placed in a coma/unconscious condition, and it is not yet their time, some souls are offered the opportunity to return and resume their incarnation. For these souls, they are made fully aware what the physical impact to their body will be following recovery. Some will make a remarkable full recovery, others partial and a few may be left with permanent physical defects, which will leave them paralyzed or physically or mentally disabled. It is a choice and decision which is made between that soul and their Guardian Angels, Spiritual team and Source.
Those who return often recall their experience of death. It is permitted in order that they let the living know that the soul is eternal and lives on after death. The living are then given an opportunity to remember their true Divine nature and spiritual home. These souls often live lives that are dramatically different from the ones they lived before. They acutely understand the transient fragile nature of life and treasure, appreciate and relish every second they are here. These souls go on to inspire others and live their lives with purpose, fulfilling missions to help humanity and spread the energy of light into the world. It is primarily for this reason that they are granted their request to return.
There are also a small number of souls who are given the chance to live again as a 'walk in'. They exchange places with a departing soul who has decided not to return to their body and continue with their life. A swap is arranged. The soul coming in is not born as a baby but enters into an adults body taking their place in the living world. They will not have any memory of the exiting soul's life, family, friends etc. Everything in that person's life will be completely new to them.
Those children who remember their past lives usually come in with gifts, skills, and talents to be built on in their new incarnation. They are the innovators who help humanity.
Then there are the souls who you humans refer to as 'ghosts'. These are the lost souls, the grey ones, the ones who have chosen to remain Earth bound. They are attached to the physical realm, the material, and the living. Some are afraid of being punished for their misdeeds in life. Others simply wish to stay amongst the familiar world of the living. A few are stuck in an emotional and psychological torment/trauma of their making, these are the ones who haunt a place. Some seek revenge/vengeance and are attracted to the lower energy of hatred, violence, and darkness. I never give up on these souls - even those who have travelled or been led into darker realms, - the light will always be sent to guide them home to heal.
I am concerned with souls transitioning, crossing over and the grieving loved ones they have left behind. Other Angels and spiritual guides are involved with the newly deceased souls to assist them in making an adjustment in the spiritual realm. I work closely with Archangel Jeremiel who oversees life review. For the bereaved, I bring comfort and solace. I support them in gradually come to terms with their loss. I facilitate meetings between the living and the dead in dreams and I create the conditions by which your loved ones can come to you, to be by your side while you grieve. Do not fear death, nor the dead. They are just like you but without a physical body. They are free from pain, fear, struggle, sorrow, and suffering because they exist in a state of pure love.
When it is your time, those who you loved wil be there to meet, greet and welcome you. My light will guide you home as it has done in all your previous incarnations and you shall rest and be held in Grace and the presence of Source.
